Deirdre Pike is a proud Hamiltonian with over four decades of community work in social justice. For twenty years, she was a Senior Social Planner at Hamilton’s Social Planning and Research Council, prioritizing poverty reduction, food security and systems responding to homelessness. Deirdre collaborates with a team of trainers in her own consulting firm offering inclusion and equity training across various sectors, and is the justice and outreach consultant for the Anglican Diocese of Niagara. A veteran columnist with The Hamilton Spectator, Deirdre is a collaborator focused on building a community that benefits everyone.
